Hello and welcome to my online Hub, The Re.Store.
I am a 400+ hour yoga teacher and I am fully accredited with Yoga Alliance International. I have a personal practice of 20 years, first finding yoga at age 14 and studying my 200 hours at Semperviva Yoga Studio, Vancouver, Canada some 15 years later. My personal practice has developed and changed over the years, and the remarkable thing about yoga is that at each stage of my life so far, there has always been a style of the practice to suit my situation at the time.
My style of teaching draws from the many styles of yoga I have studied to create a well rounded, creatively sequenced, holistic class. My classes focus on flowing through creative movement with breath to find a deeper connection to your physical, emotional and mental bodies. I like to think I encourage students to explore aspects of mindfulness and yogic philosophy in a relatable manner.
I draw from many different traditions including Vinyassa, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, and predominately Kundalini Yoga. I have studied 200 hours in Hatha Vinyassa with world-renowned guest teachers Janet Stone, Max Strom and Mark Whitwell. A further 200 hours in Kundalini Yoga with global Kundalini yoga teacher, Gloria Latham and her incredible unique take on the powerful practice, along with guest teacher Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and 50 hours of Restorative yoga with Anna Ashby at TriYoga London.
I teach yoga classes in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, my classes range from empowering and uplifting where we challenge ourselves to stay within our bodies, to resting and rejuvenating to clam the nervous system. I believe in finding balance on the mat, so we can find balance off the mat.
I continue to work on my own practice in order to share everything I have learnt so far, in hopes that an element of what I share can be of help to any one of the students that enter the studio with me, and I hope to learn as much from them in the process.
